A Comprehensive Approach to IEP's

Individualized Educational Program Development

A child's IEP is a living breathing, legally binding document. I take more of a proactive, comprehensive, collaborative approach to developing IEP goals and accommodations. In conjunction with classroom teachers and other school-based professionals, we look at the whole child to ensure that all goals are S.M.A.R.T (specific,measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound), data-driven, and designed to promote academic, social, and emotional growth.

In addition, I make sure

accommodations are meaningful, so your child can  access the general curriculum and can demonstrate what he has learned in a successful way.
